This is the beta version of Ronbus’ Ripple R1.14. Purchased in mid-October directly from Ronbus through their Connect program. This paddle is USAP approved but is not the alpha version that is soon to hit the market. Used with an overgrip and the stock grip is like-new. Some slight scuffing but also played with an edge guard to limit. Very lightweight, powerful, and forgiving paddle. Has a great lower pitched sound. The feel is fantastic. Drops feel great. Paddle surface texture is less gritty by design. The spin is generated more by dwell time and shaping the ball is fun with this paddle.
