Jeff I wish that was true. However, according to Selkirk's official manufacturer warranty policy, their coverage is strictly non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Selkirk requires the original proof of purchase from Selkirk Sport or an authorized reseller to qualify for warranty service and activation.

Lawrence It is true. This paddle has an unregistered warranty—the paddle has never been registered, so the buyer can register the serial number under their information. Selkirk 9 times out of 10 grants warranty service and activation without original proof of purchase. Obviously on rare occasions warranty claims remain subject to Selkirk’s approval.
